My name is Kayla Aspen and I am a 21 year old mother, girlfriend and student. After hours of trying to write a decent paragraph about myself, I’ve decided it is impossible, so here are a few facts about me.
- I have a beautiful daughter named Madelyn and a high school sweetheart named Barry.
- I’m a Public Relations student at Rowan University with a minor in Advertising and Journalism.
- Barry and I watch the bachelor together every single Monday. (He has learned to love it! )
- I own a perfect green 2004 Jeep Liberty that I am obsessed with.
- My dream has always been to be a full time, corporate professional that wears heels and dresses, but I find myself secretly loving being a stay at home mom.
- I enjoy white wine, beer and Mr. Captain Morgan.
- Madelyn and I spend 87% of our days dancing and singing to Here Comes the Lion Guard, Let it Go and Shake it Off on repeat. I’m convinced she is going to be the next Taylor Swift/Beyonce.
- After years of not being able to cook or clean, magical powers appeared as soon as Barry and I got our own apartment. I’m not kidding. They literally appeared out of nowhere and I am now a certified cook and a pretty big clean freak.
- I breastfed Madelyn for 8 months and sleep trained her at 9 months because seriously, how long are you expected to go without sleeping??!?
- I don’t drink coffee- which is an excuse for any and all of my bitchiness.
- I can’t think of anything else to write and lists kind of suck, but welcome to my blog.
